What every family can expect

Consistency, sensitivity and compassion are the standard on every placement.

Consistency

The same familiar face, week after week. Your loved one never has to start over with a stranger.

Sensitivity

We notice the small things: a quieter morning, a change in appetite, a mood that needs space.

Compassion

Hard days get patience, not hurry. Asking for help should never feel like a burden.

Consistency

If your caregiver can't make it, you hear from us first. Never silence, never a surprise.

Sensitivity

Private moments stay private. We ask before we help, every time.

Compassion

Dignity first. Your loved one is a person to know, not a task to finish.

Consistency

Care that follows the routine your loved one already trusts.

Compassion

We treat your parent the way we would want our own family treated.

Two ways we help

Choose the path that fits. Either way, one call starts everything.

My life changed in a single day.

Before my accident, I was a fully able-bodied person who loved rock climbing, traveling and bodybuilding. I worked long days on my feet, led teams, and never thought twice about getting through a day on my own. Then a workplace accident, compounded by genetic conditions, changed everything. Surgery after surgery followed, and my body never recovered the way I hoped. Suddenly I was a single adult who needed help to get through each day, with no one at home to give it.

Needing help with the most personal parts of my day was humbling in a way I wasn't prepared for. Every time I had to ask, it felt like giving up another piece of who I used to be. I know that embarrassment, and I know how quietly people carry it.

And while insurers and attorneys fought over my claim, my care paid the price. Some weeks, a rotating stream of strangers came through my door. Other weeks, no one came at all. No one called when plans changed. I was a claim being argued over, not a person being cared for.

After my last surgery, one nurse changed that. She arrived on time, every time. She noticed things, asked questions, and treated me with dignity. She showed me the difference isn't the credential. It's whether someone truly sees you.

I built Steady Home Health LLC so no one else has to feel the way I did. Needing help should never cost you your dignity. We match every person with a caregiver who fits who they are, shows up consistently, and treats asking for help as something normal and human, never a burden. And every family gets the reassurance that someone is truly looking out for the person they love.

Three things we promise to measure, and show you

Every home care agency says "compassionate." We'd rather prove it. These are measured on every placement and reported back to your family.

Compassion

You and your loved ones are treated with patience and kindness, especially on hard days.

How we measure it: at day 14 and day 90 you or your family rate patience, kindness and respect from one to five.

Fluidity

Care that adapts as needs change, with the same familiar face whenever possible.

How we measure it: the share of visits covered by the primary caregiver, and how fast schedule changes are confirmed.

Concern

We check in before you have to call us.

How we measure it: scheduled and random check-ins completed on time and often, and how quickly any concern you raise gets a response.

Why the right match matters

Less depressionIn a study of 3,864 people receiving home care, those who saw the same caregivers more consistently had fewer depressive symptoms and fewer falls. A familiar face is good for the heart as well as the home.Home care worker continuity study of 3,864 clients, PubMed 38505005

$2,600Average cost for an agency to replace one caregiver: recruiting, screening and background checks, hiring paperwork, and training someone new. High turnover is expensive, and the cost is felt in lost familiarity too.Activated Insights Benchmarking Report, 2025 edition, via HHAeXchange
Same routineWhen the same caregiver comes at the same time, mornings, meals and medications settle into a rhythm. Routine is what makes help feel like part of your day, not an interruption. Our standard on every placement

You shouldn't have to navigate the system alone

Our care coordinators work alongside you, and alongside your adjuster, insurer or family, so every piece is in place before care begins.

Paperwork support

We work with your medical team and insurer so nothing delays care that has already been authorized.
